Separation is scary; I’m not going to lie.
The fear of the unknown, new parenting roles & responsibilities, anger and confusion often play a part. The process can be frustrating, complicated and take time.
It doesn’t have to be terrible though. It’s important to realize that support is out there and you have options.
SEPARATION2SUCCESS is one such support group. It gives you the opportunity to meet and share with a group of people that are experiencing a similar life transition to you. The group is guided by a Family Mediator and Separation Coach. You can get support from peers, professional information and linked to local professionals for a fraction of the cost of individual coaching.

1/2 day Workshop
The Fall workshop is scheduled for September 22, 2012.
SEPARATION2SUCCESS workshop is a 1/2 day co-ed program beginning at 9am and ending at noon. The cost is $50 plus HST and can be paid by cash, credit card over the phone or email money transfer.
- How to develop a parenting plan
- Supporting your children during this change
- How to save money with/without lawyers
- Things to consider
- How to stay on the right side of an argument
- Creating a successful divorce
6 Week Program
Each SEPARATION2SUCCESS meeting will have 1/2 hour of learning on a specific topic agreed to by the group. Topics such as:
- Talking to your family about the changes
- How to stay on the right side of an argument
- Get help preparing documentation in order to reduce costs with your lawyer
- Get help creating the framework of a parenting plan or making changes to a parenting plan
- Learn how to communicate better with your ex partner or your lawyer
- Connect with the right local professionals for your needs
The following hour will be a guided discussion of what the group has been experiencing since the last meeting. This will be time for sharing experiences, emotions and to set action items.
Making informed decisions and getting help coping with the changes that are occurring in your life from a professional who has been through it will save you time, money and stress!
SEPARATION2SUCCESS also has a 6 week support program with meetings lasting 1.5 hours each. The cost is $200 plus HST and can be paid by cash, credit card over the phone or email money transfer. Separation2Success requires a minimum of 5 registrants to run this program.
Women’s SEPARATION2SUCCESS group
The fall workshop will run each Saturday from 11am to 12:30pm October 13-November 17, 2012.
Men’s SEPARATION2SUCCESS group
The fall workshop will run each Saturday from 1:30pm to 3pm October 13-November 17, 2012.
All workshops will be held at the SeparationCoach.com office in the Durham Corporate Center at 105 Consumers Drive, Whitby.
As a group we are as strong as all of us combined…you don’t need to go through it alone, frustrated and sad.
